These tasty little morsels can be made so that they are quite healthy and nutritious with the vegetables, compared to the store bought variety. You could decrease the saturated fat by mincing your own meat and omitting the grated cheese.
These little guys also freeze really well, either cooked or uncooked. I find myself making a huge batch of pork rolls and the spinach rolls and freeze them for an easy nutritious snack. I put them in the oven frozen and just increase the cooking time by about 5 or 10 minutes.
They are so versatile because you can add and omit any vegetables you like and they are delicious either hot or cold so they make the perfect lunch box snack.
Be careful, they are extremely addictive and you will find yourself eating more than just one.
